but I really am not in the mood to go and write out the exact titles for each book and all the authors; I just wrote the ones I remembered, so for further details; i'm sorry, i know it's so hard; you're going to have to go online and research yourself.
Now I have to pick which one I'm gonna read...since...

I totally have to write a post about it; don't worry, I'm going to include a spoiler-warning. Look out for the post; it'll probably be out today.

Alex Rider Series
Hey all!
It's Marvel, and I would like to expand on the Alex Rider Series that Medallion briefly mentioned in her post to Samiira. Ok, so basically, the Alex Rider series can be considered a spy thriller or mystery. So far, 8 books have been released, and it is rumored that Anthony Horowitz (the author) is coming out with two others.

Well, I read the Nancy Drew series. I like them, and they're mystery. I highly recommend you read historical fiction; it's a great genre where you can find adventure, meaningful morals, and that genre just has some really great books. The Alex Rider series is good too; Marvel is going to be posting a post about it today, probably. It involves spying and agent-work, and you might like it. Islamic heroes...books on the Sahabah(R)...I don't have any specific titles in my mind right now, but I'll see. OH, OH, you know on Muslim Teens, the blog that now can be located at: http://www.myniyyah.blogspot.com/, there was a post on a book called If I Should Speak by Umm Zakiyyah? You must read it. It has GREAT Da'wa in it, and is a pretty good book as well. I didn't find it at the library, so I bought it, but it is totally worth it. I bought it on http://www.bn.com/

Question: School's Out-FOREVER by James Patterson
Warning: Spoiler-Content for Those who Haven't Read the Third Book in the Series.
OK. Do you remember when Fang read that comment on his blog, and no matter how many times he deleted it, it kept returning? The one saying that one of the flock had betrayed or something...?
Do you think that'll come back in the sixth book(Fang)?

New Releases of January
Thought I'd be nice and all and list some books that have come out this month...
Well, the fourty-third book of the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne came out; it's title: "Leprechaun in Late Winter."
When I was younger, I used to read that series. I have the first eight or so...cute books.
The seventh book in the Ranger's Apprentice series came out this month as well; it's title: "Erak's Ransom." The series is by John Flanagan. A friend of mine told me the series is really good, but I haven't gone around to reading it yet.
And the nineteenth of the Redwall series, "Eulalia!" by Brian Jacques came out this month as well.
And two books by Jacqueline Woodson came out this month: "Locomotion" and "Feathers".
And apparently she's a three-time Newberry Honor Author. Hmm...I've never heard of her, but I might just check out the synopsises(what is the plural of synopsis?) of the books later.
And "Great Bear Lake" (Seekers Series #2) by Erin Hunter came out.
"Tales from the Odyssey", Part 1 of 2 by Mary Pope Osborne came out.
"Chains" by Laurie Halse Anderson came out in paperback...and oh my god. She's the author of "Fever 1793". I enjoyed the book. And this book definitely looks good...here's the synopsis for ya:
If an entire nation could seek its freedom, why not a girl?
As the Revolutionary War begins, thirteen-year-old Isabel wages her own fight...for freedom. Promised freedom upon the death of their owner, she and her sister, Ruth, in a cruel twist of fate become the property of a malicious New York City couple, the Locktons, who have no sympathy for the American Revolution and even less for Ruth and Isabel. When Isabel meets Curzon, a slave with ties to the Patriots, he encourages her to spy on her owners, who know details of British plans for invasion. She is reluctant at first, but when the unthinkable happens to Ruth, Isabel realizes her loyalty is available to the bidder who can provide her with freedom.
From acclaimed author Laurie Halse Anderson comes this compelling, impeccably researched novel that shows the lengths we can go to cast off our chains, both physical and spiritual.
If I don't buy this book, I'm getting it from the library, definitely.

Spoiler-Content Resolution
I haven't received any comments in regards to the spoiler-content issue. And, I realized I dont want to add "SPOILER" to every post's title where there is spoiler-content for those who havent read the particular book. SO, maybe I'll just write at the beginning of the post something like "WARNING: Spoiler for those who have not read past Book 5 of Cirque du Freake" or something like that.
I think that's a great idea. Alright, so I'll just mention it at the beginning of the post.

Upcoming Book "Fang": Fear Fans are Having: Possible Death of Fang
WARNING: Minor Spoiler-Content(if you have not completed Max yet)
Those of you who have read the synopsis for the upcoming, highly anticipated book Fang by accomplished author James Patterson, would have had certain words or phrases jump out at you with a great shocker attached.
The tagline of the book is: Angel says Fang will be the first to die. Angel is never wrong.
Let me give you an idea of the kind of impact this is having on some fans:
FANG CANNOT DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If he did the world would end! (figure of speech)
i REFuse to let fang die.. it just CANT happen!!!
When is the 6th book coming out? When it does, I will NOT buy it until I find out that Fang stays alive. I will go to the bookstore and skip to the last page to see if hes still alive. if not, I will put it back and sale all my Maximum Ride books!
I, as Medallion, the intelligent, logical, sometimes witty, am going to give you my opinion on this matter. I doubt Fang will die. I do not think any of the flock will die. I mean, just by reading the tagline, you can tell the tagline was put like that to add some drama. I mean, it would be too simple, James Patterson simply letting us know, "Hey, Fang's going to die in the next book. Just wanted to let you know." But I am not sure that Fang won't die. He might, Dylan might take Fang's place, the unthinkable, all what we can't have happen might happen. What we don't want to happen might happen, but we won't know until March. Until we read the book.
I heard from a friend that the series is going to be longer, over three more books, twelve I read on a forum somewhere online. And really, how can the series continue with no Fang? I cannot picture the series without Fang. Without any of the flock. Remember when Iggy left the flock, but then returned? Then Nudge left the flock, but returned as well? James Patterson kept bringing the flock back together. But if Fang dies, he can't return, as this isn't the sort of book where people can come back to life except in Ari's case.
But if you want to know what I want, I do NOT want Fang to die. I want the flock to always stay alive, and hopefully always be united in the end.

Harry, a History, the Trials of Friendship and a Few Other Things.
Hey Everyone. Missed me? Of course you did; what a rhetorical question.
I'm kind of bummed out 'cause I had just finished typing this post and I accidentally deleted all that I had typed. Oh well.
I've been reading Harry, a History, by Melissa Anelli. It's very good thus far; I'm on page 123, and I'm sure Harry Potter fans, like myself and Marvel, will enjoy it. And even those who neither like it nor despise it. And as for those who despise it...I don't know why they even picked it up in the first place; the title is kind of obvious, don't ya think?
The cover is very nice, the theme based on Gryffindor colors. "Harry's glasses" are atop two large books on the cover, as well. I will most likely give a detailed review when I've finished the book.
I acquired Trials of the Death (5th book in the Cirque du Freake series by Darren Shan). I am DYING to read it, but, as you know, Marvel and I read the series together, and it's sort of an agreement which Marvel has breached more than once already that we can't begin reading the book before the other has also acquired it. One must put aside, however, one's impatience to understand the true meaning of friendship...which is to wait for Marvel to get it from the library as soon as she can. (Hurry up, Marvel!).
I've been thinking about the issue of posting spoiler content on this blog. Thus far I've made it as non-spoiler as possible, but now I'm thinking that wouldn't it be better if I included spoiler content, but when I do, it will be like: DISCUSSION OF CHARACTER OF MR.CREPSLEY: WARNING: SPOILER CONTENT.
I think it's restrictive being so general, and it will contribute to the blog when others can speak freely about aspects of a book.
Example: "Remember when he died? I started crying..." "Oh, you know how the girl went and told Lewis about the incident. I wanted to smack her on the cheek..." "No, she was just scared that her mother would find out, she needed to confide in someone..." "I think the author shouldn't have made her such an innocent character because..." "I love the character of Lewis...he was so funny when..."
You get the idea. We can all be more free when we discuss books. If you like the idea or dislike it, lemme know and comment. But in my opinion, I think it's a good idea, as it addresses readers out there who absolutely HATE it when someone spoils a (good) book for them, like I do. In conclusion, the idea would be to mention in the title whenever there is spoiler-content.
Random Musing: Doesn't the weekend fly by? Saturday passes by especially fast, though.

Happy New Year's
Hey Everyone!
The awesome Medallion's here,
wishing y'all a Happy New Year of 2010, even if is the third day of the new year and i am a little late with this post...but still you'd have to be a real stickler to start berating me over it.
Well, for many readers, this year holds more than hope for a better economy or whatever they're saying on T.V., it holds anticipation for the releases of new books!
Two posts thus far have been made by yours truly on some books coming out this year; check 'em out.
